was formed to provide technical assistance to all counties on the region in
establishing crisis nursery programs. Sacramento, Yolo, Placer and Nevada counties
are the founding members of the RCNC. A $2,000,000 grant was received from the
California Endowment to provide for the development of the RCNC in order to
facilitate the planning and implementation of the Yolo and Placer Crisis Nurseries
and to regionalize the 24- Hour Parent Support Line. The Sacramento Crisis Nurseries
under the auspices of the Sacramento Children's Home, is the lead agency responsible
for the development of the Regional Crisis Nursery Collaboration.
